CASE STUDY: Temporary exhibition structures

Every year, more than 300 word-leading manufacturers and service providers who are shaping the future of ocean and science technology exhibit at Ocean Business in our multiple temporary event structures.

Held near the docs at Southampton, at Mar-Key Group, our structures are meticulously designed to incorporate this unique location and allow for equipment to be demonstrated in the water, whilst keeping people covered and engaged in the action in all weathers.

Exhibition marquees

At the site in Southampton, we have multiple structures all for different uses, however after high demand to exhibit, many of our structures here are used for exhibition stands.

Measuring 15m x 95m, our largest structure is big enough to house over 80 exhibitors and is equipped with a branded PVC gable, curved roof and ABS walling. At Mar-Key Group, we can manufacture the structure to represent exactly what your event is and house hundreds of people.

The main exhibition halls that host mostly larger and higher profile stands in are two 30m x 60m structures that link together to give the illusion of one large structure, allowing people to flow through the event seamlessly.

To round off the exhibition structures, we have a further two smaller structures, making the total exhibition space over 5500 square metres.

The event

In order to keep people covered from all weathers whilst still showcasing the demonstrations in the water, we build 2 15m x 5m dockside structures with 50m glazing. This allows people to watch what’s going on in the water whilst they hold small talks on the product being demonstrated.

To complete the event and make the whole day an enjoyable experience, within the structures there is a waterfront café and breakout areas where you can enjoy refreshments and take in the action. You can read more about this event here.
