What DON’T we provide?! If you have a need for covered space, the likelihood is we can help. We design and manufacture our structures in-house so anything is possible. From temporary event venues, ice rink covers and VIP hospitality units, to fan zones, warehouses and classrooms. We use aluminium frame and various cladding techniques to provide solutions that last from a few days to 30+ years.
Both! Our structures can be hired from as little as a week or you can purchase your structure outright. Not sure which is best? Our team can give you options and talk you through them to help you decide what’s best for your business.
Depending on the size and location of the build, this can range from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. The beauty of modular construction methods is that it’s a fraction of the build time compared with traditional brick and mortar buildings.
Yes. If you need your building for more than 28 days, it will most likely need planning permission (but not always!). We know the world of planning can seem daunting so our approved planning partner can take care of this for you.
Permitted development rights (PDR’s) could mean it’s not needed, and you can also apply retrospectively in some cases. It’s always best to check with your local authority as the guidance differs across the country. Click here to read more. Planning departments understand temporary structures to be buildings which are surface-mounted, quick to install and quick to remove. Some may look upon them more favourably for this reason, however there are many factors that will be considered such as size, visual impact, duration of usage and business need. Larger structures that may have an impact on the public are likely to require consent, likewise, structures in protected areas need to be more regulated and so would require planning. It is always worth checking if your temporary structure requires planning, and you can read our blog about planning here to find out more.

Whilst the industry often refers to our solutions as ‘temporary’ because of their demountable, easy-to-move nature, our in-house design capabilities mean that we can also configure them to be long-term facilities too. These buildings have the added benefit of flexibility to adapt, meaning we can add extra bays and make modifications if the needs of your business change after we’ve constructed it. Take a look at this example here. Some of these structures will require planning permission and if this is something you’d like to read more about, you can do so here.
A temporary structure is a building that is constructed using component parts, can be built in a short period of time and can be easily removed. The term ‘Temporary Structure’ encompasses a wide range of uses and finishes which can range from marquees for events to temporary storage facilities and sports facilities. The term ‘temporary’ is very subjective, as some clients only need the solution in place for a couple weeks, some for many years.
To some extent, as long as you need them to! Whether it’s a few weeks or 30 years, because we design and manufacture our temporary structures in-house, we can ensure that your building is configured to your exact requirements. For example longer term solutions might need to be signed off by building control. Take a look at this example here. They may have temporary in their name, but they are not always temporary in their nature.
Depending on your requirements, a modular warehouse can take between a few days to a few weeks to build. Due to its modular design, the time it takes to construct the building is significantly reduced compared to traditional brick and mortar buildings, making a modular warehouse not only cost effective but also time efficient. It’s worth considering whether you need to complete any groundworks prior to the building commencing, as these can add to the overall time from start to finish.
Built using aluminium frame and clad in any finish to meet your need, our temporary structures can be used for various different things including: temporary school buildings, temporary warehouses, temporary storage solutions, temporary event venues, temporary film/TV studios, gyms and more. If it requires a building, our temporary structures can do just the job.
By design, our modular buildings come in component aluminium parts which are infinitely recyclable and are a sustainable approach to construction. When you’ve finished with your building, we’ll simply deconstruct it and use the parts again. Within our structures we can add censored lights and solar panels, and can use insulated panels to ensure that you retain your heat internally.
Our buildings can be in situ for more than 30 years. We’d start by asking you, how long you do you need the structure for? We then suggest the most suitable solution for it’s longevity as factors such as fixing methods, cladding type, frame profile (thickness) and structural calculations will all impact how long your building can last. We also offer maintenance visits if you’d like peace of mind.
In our business, it simply means using aluminium frame manufactured in our warehouse, which is transported to site then constructed to form your building. These are fast to install and can be designed in a range of finishes. All of our modular buildings can be fully fit out with all the accessories you may need, supplying power, heating and cooling systems and internal walling for minimising acoustics.
Whether you’re going to use a temporary structure for a few days or many years, it’s important that you choose a supplier which adheres to appropriate working practices to ensure the safe and suitable installation of your building.
