Mar-Key Group acknowledges that the key to successful Health and Safety Management requires an effective policy, organisation and arrangements which reflect the commitment of our Senior Management Team. To maintain that commitment, we continually measure, monitor and revise where necessary an annual plan to ensure that Health and Safety standards are appropriately and adequately maintained. In addition, Mar-Key Group has engaged the Health & Safety consultants Gallowglass to further its drive towards Health & Safety excellence.
We achieved accreditation under CHAS (The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) in 2011, and the Management Team at Mar- Key Group look upon the promotion of Health and Safety measures as a mutual objective for ourselves and our employees. We regard all Health and Safety as the minimum standard and as such insist that it is not compromised.
- All structures and systems employed by the Mar-key Group are fully compliant with British and European Safety Standards.
- We only ever use sub-contractors from a pre-approved supplier list so that we know they maintain the same standards of quality and professionalism as Mar-Key Group.
- Our clients receive a comprehensive Health & Safety pack prior to the commencement of build which includes all relevant risk assessments.
- We have a programme of training and refresher training which ensures that staff remain competent to carry out the tasks in hand, and are regularly reminded of the importance of Health and Safety standards.
